I mean, the thing is, is that he doesn’t need these people, or he doesn’t know that he needs these people. Though once he starts living them and going through all these situations with them, he’s starting to become the man he never got a chance to be growing up with his older brother and his home life. He’s starting to develop relationships, like adult relationships with people. People are starting to tell what he’s worth. He is valuable. He just can’t really deal with that. He’s like a guy who really needs a hug, but if you try to hug, he’ll stab you, if you know what you mean. I’m trying to play him like sort of like a wet cat in an alley. You want to pick it up, and it’s surviving in the alley and the rainstorm, but if you pick it up, it’ll scratch you all you, and there’s something sad about it. I’m trying to play him ferocious, but sad at the same time. - Zombie Tales with Norman Reedus [x]
